PAL's Surgical Instruments System Features
The platform from MicroAire Surgical Instruments comes with a lightweight handpiece that can be autoclaved. A range of medical-grade stainless steel cannulas can be used with the MicroAire system, including the new SlimLine ECTR cannula. (A cannula is a small tube through which the deposits of fat are removed using a suction system). Other innovative features of the system include a handpiece with speed control. Also, the handpiece and cable are completely autoclavable. The system is powered by a standalone electric console.
1. PAL Powered Handpiece
PAL’s smooth reciprocating cannulas glide through tissue, reducing the amount of physical effort required during liposuction, thus reducing O.R. time. Reciprocation increases control, helping the surgeon gently guide the cannula with greater accuracy, even through dense fibrous tissue. The result is a faster procedure, less fatigue and more precise outcomes.

Most aspiration systems are compatible with LipoFilter®, a canister-style filter that is incredibly efficient, reasonably priced, and dependable.
To separate fluids from adipose tissue, the LipoFilter employs a gravity-decanting system. The damaged, emulsified cells behave like leaking balloons that stay trapped in the solution for a longer period of time and rise slowly, if at all. In contrast, live fat cells behave like floating balloons that rise naturally and quickly to the top. The LipoFilter, which when used properly separates the majority of the fluid from the fat mass, can easily filter these damaged cells as waste because they are not useful for transferring fat.
Lipofilter Mini
Collecting 60 cc swiftly, its closed system ensures safety without mess. No aspirator is needed. The plunger chip maintains visibility, while the evacuation valve efficiently removes fluids. It also facilitates easy injection of antibiotics and wash-fluids. Affordable and disposable, the Lipofilter Mini redefines convenience in medical applications.
